Battery Recycling in Saskatchewan
As Canada’s national and leading battery collection and recycling program, Call2Recycle® has been voluntarily collecting batteries in Saskatchewan for recycling since 1997 and has established a strong presence in the province. Batteries can be dropped off for recycling at over 170 locations across the province including many retail locations, municipal facilities, and all SARCAN depots. To find a location near you, please visit www.call2recycle.ca/locator/

Call2Recycle applies an Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) per unit sold on applicable single-use and rechargeable batteries. The EHFs cover the cost associated with the safe and responsible recycling of end-of-life batteries. EHFs are remitted to Call2Recycle by the obligated first seller in Saskatchewan. The EHF is not tax nor a deposit but represents the actual cost to manage each battery at end of life. The EHF schedule can be found by visiting: Fee Schedule – Call2Recycle® | Canada
